PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deinking agent for floatation excellent in ink removal property and contamination debris removal property and a manufacturing method of recycled pulp.SOLUTION: By using a deinking agent for floatation containing aliphatic acid having 8 to 24 carbon atoms (A), containing aliphatic acid represented by the following general formula (a1) or a salt thereof (A1) and aliphatic acid represented by the following general formula (a2) or a salt thereof (A2) and having mass ratio represented by the (A1) component/(A2) component of 3/97 to 90/10, an ink is removed from raw material waste paper by a floatation method to obtain recycled pulp. R-COOH (a1), where Ris a linear or branched hydrocarbon group having 7 to 23 carbon atoms, a carbon atom binding to -COOH is secondary carbon when Ris a linear hydrocarbon group. R-COOH (a2), where Ris a linear hydrocarbon group having 7 to 23 carbon atoms and a carbon atom binding to -COOH is primary carbon.SELECTED DRAWING: None
