Abstract:
The present invention discloses a flame-retardant seat comprising: a) a seat portion comprising i) a silicone foamed member with a predetermined thickness; ii) a plate member placed under the silicone foamed member; and iii) an outer cover encapsulating the silicone foamed member, wherein the outer cover is at least partially connected to the plate member inside and under the plate member; b) a support frame for supporting the seat portion; and c) a connection means for fixedly securing the seat portion to the support frame. According to the present invention, an advantageous effect is accomplished in that loss of human life and damages to personal properties due to a fire are minimized when a fire occurs at a place where such seat is equipped with, by maximizing a flame-retardant property of the components of the seat.
