Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a delivery device and a delivery method of a strip material for ceaselessly and continuously supplying the strip materials to a post-process from the next process by automatically restraining the expansion of a difference in a holding quantity by a dancer roller caused between a plurality of strip materials.
SOLUTION: This device respectively supplies the plurality of strip materials S and S in parallel in the vertical direction via at least the one freely reciprocable dancer roller 10, and has a main dancer unit 3 freely slidable in the vertical direction in a range regulated to a base frame 1, and a plurality of sub-dancer units 7 and 7 freely slidable in the vertical direction in a range regulated to the main dancer unit 3. The dancer roller 10 for the respective strip materials S is mounted on the respective sub-dancer units 7. The strip materials S having the least holding quantity by the dancer roller 10 is drawn out in the lengthwise direction at an expanding rate of 1 to 10%.
