To provide a method for delivering a fiber bundle in a comber capable of reducing the ratio of a waste cotton and the containing ratio of long fibers in the waste cotton and improving the quality of a comber sliver by bending a passage of a fiber bundle on a cushion plate at plural positions in the downstream of a feed roller.
A fiber bundle (a) is delivered so as to pull out from a detaching roller 3 in a state in which a mutual friction force in the fiber bundle (a) is enlarged by bending the passage of the fiber bundle (a) on a cushion plate 50 in the downstream of a feed roller 9, at around a top comb 4 in the method for delivering the fiber bundle in a comber. A friction power is enlarged by bending the passage of the fiber bundle (a) by protruding parts 56 and passage bending members 16 in several positions. The method for delivering the fiber bundle is capable of dealing with the fiber bundles within a wide grain range without controlling of the grain.
