Abstract:
To enable safe light in a daily living environment to be utilized as a therapeutic light source so as to widely promote an antidementia treatment method in which the eyes of a person to be treated are irradiated with a flash repeatedly blinking at a frequency included in brain waves (gamma waves).SOLUTION: A liquid crystal shutter element (or a component having an electronic shutter function) is provided in a lens part of sunglasses. Light is periodically transmitted or blocked by controlling transmittance of the lens part. Thus, safe light in a daily living environment is utilized as a light source so as to generate a flash periodically and repeatedly blinking at a frequency of approximately 40 Hz included in brain waves (gamma waves).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
