PURPOSE: To provide demisting agent which is used, for example, in the form that it is included in a paper sheet in a specific amount with a volatile solvent reduced in a slight amount and can be used for spectacles, window panes and the like because this is convenient to carry and excellent in storability, reproducibility in demisting effect, stability and good finish after application.

CONSTITUTION: Paper or cloth (preferably the average thickness of the filament is less than 1 denier) with a unit weight of 10-300g/m2 is impregnated with this demisting agent preferably comprising, as active ingredients, 0.1-1.0g of a silicone water repellent (S) and a surfactant having no water repellency (A) where S/A is 0.5-3, and 0.2g or less of a volatile solvent such as methanol or ethanol.
