Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the demodulator in common use by which a television signal and an FM broadcast signal are demodulated and to realize the receiver where a television video signal and audio signal and FM broadcast audio signal are obtained by the common demodulator without the need for a 2nd mixer circuit or the like that converts a frequency of the FM broadcast signal into a frequency of 10.7 MHz.
SOLUTION: The receiver is provided with a 1st input terminal 7a, a 2nd input terminal 7b and a 3rd input terminal 7c. In the case of receiving a television signal, a changeover switch 8 connects the 1st input terminal 7a, a video detection circuit 13 and a video carrier generating circuit 16, and in the case of receiving an FM broadcast signal, the changeover switch 8 connects the 3rd input terminal 7c, the video detection circuit 13 and the video carrier generating circuit 16.
