Title:
DENSIFYING METHOD FOR LOW PHOSPHATE SPRAY-DRIED DETERGENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01311200
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To produce a large quantity of the subject high density detergent within a comparatively short time, by introducing spray-dried powder, which consists of a surface active agent and a builder or the like into a blending drum of a specific construction, as well as introducing a part of nonionic surface active agent in liquid state.

CONSTITUTION: The spray-dried powder having an apparent density of 350g/l [anionic surface active agent of 4-12(wt.)%, nonionic surface active agent of 2-20%, builder of 20-50%, cleaning alkali of 3-25%, and the other components of 0-30%] is continuously introduced into the blending drum mounted with an impact tool radially. Then by processing with condition that the mean retention time in the drum is between 10 and 60 minutes and Froude number is between 50 and 1000 as well as leaving the nonionic surface active agent, which is less than half the quantity of the nonionic surface active agent and less than 5% to the detergent, in the spray drying powder, then the remainder is inducted into the blending drum in a liquid state, thereby the objective detergent is densifyed.
