Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the mechanical properties and castability of a Ti-Pd or Ti-Cr alloy by adding Al or Si to the alloy.
CONSTITUTION: This dental alloy for casting and restoration is a Ti-Pd alloy consisting of, by weight, one or more among <4% Al, <0.5% Si and <10% Cr, 5W47% Pd and the balance Ti or an alloy obtd. by adding <4% Al and/or <0.5% Si to a Ti-Cr alloy contg. 10W30% Cr.
