Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a dental composite resin capable of preventing secondary dental caries, having excellent antimicrobial action.

CONSTITUTION: An active substance such as Ag+ having antimicrobial action which is ionized or made into a radical state is made into a silica glass filler under 10-400KV accelerating voltage. The glass filler is mixed with a raw material for a synthetic resin and the raw material is polymerized to produce a dental composite resin.
