To obtain a dental glass imparting pale color (with low saturation) onto a cutting edge of tooth and bleached tooth, etc., duplicating color tone of a part with high brightness and having satisfactory mechanical strength for dental glass and improving workability in manufacturing.
The invention uses a crystalline glass containing 5-20 mass% of titanium component converted as TiO2 and 0.005-0.25 mass% of cerium component converted as CeO2 and L*, a* and b* measured in conformity to JIS Z8729 on a sample with thickness 7 mm, satisfy following inequalities: (a*2+b*2)1/2<30 (1), 1.2{(a*2+b*2)1/2}+L*>48 (2) The preferable contents of other components than the Ti and Ce are each converted as oxides 35-70 mass% of SiO2, 8-30 mass% of MgO, 5-31 mass% of Al2O3 and 5-20 mass% of CaO.
