To miniaturize a cleaning element, such as floss, to enable the action of only the polishing and cleaning portions and to lessen the wear of the teeth by combining a cleaning element-driving means, a drug supplying means and an electromagnetic wave irradiation means or one thereof with a holding means for the cleaning element, thereby constituting the device.

The floss 1 as the cleaning element is fixed or temporally fixed to the cleaning element holding means 2. The device comprises the driving means 3 for moving the floss 1, a supporting element 4 and a clamping part 5 and is covered with a cover. A piezoelectric element is used for the driving means 3 and its one end is fixed to the supporting element 4 so as to act like a cantilever. The floss holding means 2 is provided with the drug supplying means at its inside, outside, surface, or the like., and the drug from the drug supplying means body is supplied thereto. The combination of the electromagnetic wave irradiation means is possible as well. The cleaning element is thus miniaturized and the cleaning is made possible without damaging the interdental papilla, or the like.
