Abstract:
To provide dental pretreatment materials that can provide the good adhesion of a dental restoration to a tooth, especially dentin by using a dental adhesive and can be expected to provide high bactericidal effect.SOLUTION: There is provided a dental pretreatment material used in combination with a dental adhesive containing a polymerizable monomer component containing a polymerizable monomer having an acidic group and a polymerization initiator, the dental pretreatment material consisting of a hypochlorous acid aqueous solution with a pH of 6 to 7 in which molecular hypochlorous acid (HClO) that functions as a disinfectant and polyvalent metal ions with a valence of 2 or more such as Sr2+ are dissolved, and being able to prevent the formation of Hybridized smear layer by dissolving and removing organic components while leaving inorganic components in the smear layer.SELECTED DRAWING: None
