To simplify the treatment environment, to make display easily visible and to provide the good operation environment by mounting a main body section of a dental root canal length measuring instrument of a dental root canal length measuring apparatus for measuring the root canal lengths (root apex positions) of the teeth and dispersedly mounting display sections to the main body section.
This dental root canal length measuring apparatus consists of the dental root canal length measuring instrument main body section 40 which is mounted at a dental treatment unit, the display sections 50 which are dispersedly mounted at the dental root canal length measuring instrument main body section 40 of the dental examination unit and are electrically connected to the dental root canal length measuring instrument main body section 40 and lead wires for root canal length measuring electrode terminals connected to the dental root canal length measuring instrument main body section 40 or freely attachably and detachably connectable thereto. The lead wires are housed in, for example, a winding system into a housing section 60 of the dental examination unit. The root canal lengths (root apex positions) of the teeth detected by the root canal length measuring electrode terminals disposed at the front ends of the lead wires are displayed by the display sections 50 through the dental root canal length measuring instrument main body section 40.
