CONSTITUTION: This denture holding device is so designed that its tight engaging and fitting mechanism can be attached and detached and tightly engaged and fitted according to the elastic deformation of the metallic material constituting this mechanism. The a metallic material for which the elastic deformation is demanded is formed of a superelastic alloy material, the martensite transformation end temp. of which is room temp. or below and is above the max. temp. within the oral cavity and which is so adjusted as not to generate a sliding deformation by the stress lower than the stress to induce the martensite transformation so that the denture holding device can be attached, detached and fixed by the elastic deformation occurring in the superelastic effect at room temp.
