PURPOSE: To provide the title stabilizer having adherability, also easy to release from denture base after use.

CONSTITUTION: The objective denture stabilizer with the above-mentioned characteristics, containing, as the main ingredient or auxiliary (e.g. an ingredient capable of improving the releasability through addition to polyvinyl acetate), e.g. 0.5-95wt.%, based on the whole stabilizer, of a polyvinyl acetal diethylamino acetate of the formula [R is H or CONH2(C2H5)2; n is such a number as to be 5000-75000 in average molecular weight], in particular, with a nitrogen content of 1.5-2.5wt.%, e.g. commercially available as a trade name of AEA from Sankyo Co., Ltd. The above acetate can be softened with a plasticizer safe to the human body, e.g. ethanol, sucrose fatty acid ester thereby being imparted with flexibility, facilitating takeout from the container or application on denture.
