Abstract:
To provide a deodorant composition which deodorizes bad smell produced in the laundry and in a drying drum due to the use of a dryer.
The deodorant composition contains: (A) a cationic compound selected from a group comprising (a-1) tertiary amine having one or more 12-36C hydrocarbon groups in a molecule which may be segmented by an amide group, ester group, and/or ether group, or its salt or quaternary compound and (a-2) a cationic water-soluble polymer compound; and (B) an antioxidant selected from a group comprising (b-1) p-methoxyphenol, (b-2) triethylene glycol-bis[3-(3-t-butyl-5-methyl-4-hydroxyphenyl) propionate], (b-3) dibutyl hydroxytoluene, and (b-4) 2,2'-methylene bis(6-t-butyl-4-ethylphenol).
