To provide a deodorant regenerated cellulosic fiber that is excellent in deodorant properties to all odorous components in sweat odor, a method for producing the same, and a fiber structure.
The deodorant regenerated cellulosic fiber is a regenerated cellulosic fiber which includes acrylate-based resin particles blended in cellulose. The acrylate-based resin particles have an average particle diameter of 0.2 to 1.5 μm. In the regenerated cellulosic fiber, the proportion of a content of a salt type carboxyl group is 35% or less to a total content of carboxyl groups. The deodorant regenerated cellulosic fiber can be produced by spinning a viscose liquid for spinning prepared by adding an aqueous dispersion including acrylate-based resin particles having an average particle diameter of 0.2 to 1.5 μm to a viscose dope including cellulose, and dipping the obtained viscose rayon yarn in a buffer solution having a pH of 5.5 or less as necessary. The fiber structure includes the deodorant regenerated cellulosic fiber.
