To provide an inexpensive adsorption oxidation process for processing harmful air pollutants by either sprinkling a deodorization adsorption oxidizer into flue gas in an incineration facility or a combustion facility or sprinkling it over the surfaces of materials to be processed, and decomposing these components by sunlight or irradiation with ultraviolet rays in an outdoor disposal facility.
The deodorization adsorption oxidizer is obtained by applying a solution of titanium oxide to the surfaces of zeolite particles having a diameter of 1 mm or smaller, so that the weight ratio of the solution is 2 to 10%, and drying and fixing the solution at room temperature. In the adsorption oxidation process using the oxidizer, the oxidizer is sprinkled into fume gas in an incineration facility or combustion facility to cause adsorption of odor components and pollutants and the dry deodorization adsorption oxidizer is recycled by means of a bag filter, with these components decomposed by sunlight or by irradiation with ultraviolet rays in an outdoor disposal facility.
