Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorization device which can promptly and surely deodorize offensive odors generated in the fermentation/decomposition treatment of garbage.
SOLUTION: In an apparatus for fermentation treatment in which solid organic waste is decomposed by a group of aerobic microorganisms, a diffusion cylinder 42 for diffusing odorous gas fitted to an exhaust pipe 29 communicating with a waste treatment tank 1 for fermenting/decomposing the waste, an aeration tank part 41 for the primary treatment of the odorous gas in which the cylinder 42 is immersed in water, and air containing the odorous gas is discharged as fine bubbles in water through the cylinder 42, an air layer 49 arranged in the upper part of the tank part 41, and a deodorizing agent housing tank part 51 which is filled with a deodorizing agent 56 for physically adsorbing malodor leaking from the tank 41 through the air layer 49 and deodorizes the malodor by secondary treatment are constituted integrally in a container 40 through the air layer 49, and the odorous gas can be deodorized simply and inexpensively by using water and the deodorizing agent 56.
