To provide a deodorizing container with a simple constitution for solving the problem that constituting part of the container of light-transmitting glass or a light-transmitting plastic material and applying a photocatalystic coating material to an inner wall of the container make constitution complicated in the conventional deodorizing container in which part or whole of the inside of the container is made of glass or the plastic material allowing the transmission of light rays including ultraviolet rays, and a coating film of a photocatalystic coating material is applied to the inner wall of the container, and for preventing the diffusion of malodors even when a lid or the container is opened.
In the deodorizing container, a plurality of bores are arranged in the container to be pierced from an outside to an inside at prescribed intervals or in a lattice-like or a reticulated state, and photocatalyst is accreted on at least part of a surface of the bore which is made contact with air.
