This deodorizing apparatus includes the deodorizing filter 3 formed by laminating sheet-like deodorizing bodies 2 formed into an arcuate shape by curving with adjoining sheet-like deodorizing bodies via spaces into a plurality of layers, and ultraviolet lamps 4 for applying ultraviolet lights to the sheet-like deodorizing bodies 2, wherein the deodorizing filter 3 is formed by laminating the sheet-like deodorizing bodies with the bases of the curved sheet-like deodorizing bodies 2 inclined in a ventilation direction and is disposed with the non-curved sides of the sheet-like deodorizing bodies 2 facing in a direction orthogonal to the ventilation direction, and the ultraviolet lamps 4 are disposed adjacent to the ventilation face of the deodorizing filter 3.
