PURPOSE: To separate cutting oil contained in chips continously and efficiently with a simple structure by adjusting distance of separating plates installed in the carrying passage according to the size of the chips and the quantity to be treated.

CONSTITUTION: The distance between separating plates installed in the carrying passage is adjusted accordng to the size of chips and the quantity to be treated using elastic force of a coil spring 20. When chips A are put into a cylinder 5 from an inlet 8, the chips A are carried to the direction of a group of separating plates 7 with the rotation of a screw ghaft 4. At this time, cutting oil contained in the chip A leaks out from small gaps fromed by boss parts 16 of adjoining separating plates 14, and collected in an oil tank 22 below the separating plates 7. The chips A from which cutting oil is separated are pushed to discharged side and fall down from a discharge port 13 and collected in a chip receiver 23. By this way, cutting oil can be separated surely from chips and at the same time, the quantity of treatment and the quantity of deoiling can be adjusted freely.
