To provide a depilating apparatus which forms a thinly haired part by removing hairs in a manner to thin a densely haired part of a skin and adjusts a proportion of the thinly haired part to the densely haired part of the skin depending on a request by a patient, and to provide the depilating device which provides white paper or white sheets used in changing the densely haired part of the skin into the thinly haired part at a low cost.

The depilating apparatus 20 removes hairs by emitting light from an emitting surface of a light guide 23 of white light. The white paper or the white sheet 30 equivalent to the white paper is detachably attached to the emitting surface of the light guide 23 and is equipped with a plurality of piercing holes.
