A fixing device 1 for fixing a depth stop 2 of a manual tool device 4 is provided with a rod guide 5 and a fixing means 6 for this rod guide 5. The fixing device 1 is provided with at least one housing fixing nose 8a, 8b and at least one flange fixing nose 9 shifted in an axial direction with respect to these housing fixing noses in order to be locked with housing portions 10, 10a of the manual tool device 4 corresponding to the respective noses, thereby generating shape lock. Suitably, a radial attachment surface is provided in the fixing device 1, the two housing fixing noses 8a, 8b are protruded in an axial direction on the device side, and the flange fixing nose 9 shifted in the axial direction is protruded inwardly in a radial direction on the tool side, and a radial undercut 13 is provided in the flange fixing nose 9.
