Abstract:
To provide a means which is capable of removing a halogenated aromatic compound included in fly ash as well as of desalting waste gas.
The desalting composition contains at least (a) a chemical having an oxidation catalytic function and (b) an alkaline reacting agent and further may contain (c) a removing agent and/or (d) irregular carbon particles. The desalting composition is supplied to the waste gas in the upstream position than the dust collecting device of a treating device for waste gas. The fly ash containing the chemical (a) having the oxidation catalytic function is collected by the dust collecting device, heated to ≥300°C in the presence of oxygen and water vapor and rapidly cooled to ≤200°C.
