To automatically set a cut quantity of a rod according to a work purpose by arranging a detecting means for detecting that work of a material finishes after the movable part is pushed down by a prescribed quantity.
An interval between a detector actuating member 46 and a microswitch 47 is arranged so as to become a required descent quantity. When the movable part 16 descends by a rod 5a, cutting of an angle material by a cutter metal mold 13 finishes, and when the movable part 16 descends by a required descent quantity of a prescribed quantity, the microswitch 47 is turned on by the detector actuating member 46 to stop a descent of the rod 5a by stopping a motor. Afterwards, the movable part 16 also returns upward by a spring 17 according to an ascent of the rod 5a. When a notcher metal mold, a puncher metal mold and a cutter metal mold 13 similarly descend by a required descent quantity, the microswitch 47 is turned on by the detector actuating member 46 to stop the motor.
