Abstract:
PURPOSE: To rapidly dry ink droplets emitted to recording paper by heat and air streams. CONSTITUTION: Recording paper is heated in the printing preheating region of a heat roller 20 to be printed and further heated in a heating fixing region after printing to be dried and fixed while the open air taken in by an exhaust fan 50 is allowed to flow to a recording and writing part from below to above in the same direction as the feed direction of the recording paper not only to remove the steam generated from the recording paper at a time of heating and ink vapor generated at a time of printing but also to cool a recording head 40.
