Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a refrigerant supply device for a superconducting generator of high reliability by overhanging a rotor point end part, having a hole drilled in the axial center, to it and providing a fold back part, parallel to a center shaft, in an outer jacket of an injection double pipe to coat an overhung part at the point end of a rotor. CONSTITUTION:An overhung part 10, formed of a double pipe enclosed between an inner side pipe and an outer jacket pipe, is provided at the point end of a rotor 6, and the inside is heat-insulated by a vacuum layer. A liquid helium injection pipe 1 is inserted to a center hole 19 of the overhung part 10. A fold back part 9 is provided in the outer jacket part so as to cover the overhung part 10 of the rotor through a gap. Liquid helium injected into the rotor from the injection pipe 1, cools a superconductive winding, and then the helium is divided into two or more parts to be discharged to the outside of a supply/ discharge part.
