PURPOSE: To enable the detections of a connection collation and the short of a text even when a batting connection is performed for the cells with each other of a macroblock by placing rectangular data on text data and inspecting connection of rectangular data with each other when a hierarchical connection collation is performed.

CONSTITUTION: Data where rectangular wiring data is generated on a text is inputted, and when rectangular data 8 and 9 on macroblocks 3 and 4 is brought into contact with each other when the mutual connection between macroblocks is restored, equal potential is recognized. Next, the detection of short/ open between texts is taken, it is judged as short if different texts exist on qual potential data and as open if the same text exists on different potential data on the contrary. In this case, because each rectangular data 8 and 9 on the macroblocks 3 and 4 is equal potential and texts which are different from a text 5 showing a power source and a text 7 showing gland exist, it is recognized that the each text 5 and 7 on the macroblocks 3 and 4 is shorted.
