Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the capacitor for the RF coil of an MR device of a high magnetic field.

CONSTITUTION: Electrodes Ta, Tb are formed on the front surface of a dielectric substrate for high frequencies to make a capacitor board 1 and a cover layer 2 is laminated atop this board to cover the edges of the electrodes Ta, Tb. Heat sinks 3 are further mounted to the electrodes Ta, Tb. As a result, a temp. rise is smaller and the generation of a corona discharge is obviated even if this capacitor is used for the MR device of the high magnetic field of about 1.5T.
