Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce models to be the application object of detailed model matching and to accelerate a processing by narrowing a search object from plural formats based on the number of features corresponding to combinations. SOLUTION: A storage means 1 stores information relating to the features of the formats of plural tables and a comparison means 2 compares one or more features extracted from input images with one or more features included in one of the plural formats and obtains the combination of the features with the possibility of correspondence. A classification means 3 obtains the number of the features corresponding to the combination among the features of at least one of one of the plural formats and the input image and the search object is narrowed from the plural formats based on the number. Also, the features of the input image and the format indicate optional information for describing the table structure of the format and the input image and indicate a ruled line, the intersection of the ruled lines or a rectangular cell surrounded by the ruled lines for instance.
