Abstract:
For the preset retooling of machine tools, in particular in multi-spindle machines, it is proposed to provide a precision sliding guide parallel to the spindle axis between a plate-shaped basic holder (10) with a stop and a change holder (16, 17), which can be mounted in each case on this basic holder (10) and clamps a cutting tool, and during repetition work to take data obtained from earlier setting operations for determining the stop by adjusting corresponding stop means separately on an optical setting device merely in the area of the tool holder.
