Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose a method for designing a gas combustor having a required flame presence region corresponding to an allowable maximum NOx concentration and a desired maximum combustion amount, according to the allowable NOx concentration and the desired maximum combustion amount.SOLUTION: A correlation curve K between a combustion load X corresponding to fuel gas to be used and concentration of produced NOx is attained, a desired maximum NOx concentration Ya and a maximum combustion amount Qa at the gas combustor to be attained are set, a combustion load Xa corresponding to the maximum NOx concentration Ya is calculated using the correlation curve K, and a flame presence region S of the gas combustor is set so as to be a value of the combustion load Xa corresponding to the maximum combustion amount Qa/the maximum NOx concentration Ya using expression of the flame presence region S=combustion amount Q/combustion load X, from expression of the combustion load X=combustion amount Q/flame presence region S. In the case that an interval between flame holes is defined as A, the number of flame holes per injection pipe is defined as B, an interval between the injection pipes is defined as C, and the number of injection pipes is defined as D, values of A, B, C, D are set so as to fulfill the condition of the flame presence region S=A×B×C×D.
