Abstract:
PURPOSE: To estimate a cost to be required for manufacturing a product based on a design operation executed by a designer so as to display it.
CONSTITUTION: Whenever the design operation which stipulates a product form and material quality is executed, cost data 142 at every operation which is stored in accordance with the designa operation is obtained from a data storage device 140, the total sum of the estimation of the cost required for working the product in accordance with the design operation till the above design operation is calculated by an operation usage cost estimating part 133 based on the obtained cost data so as to adopt it as cost estimation value data 143 and it is displayed in a display device 110 so as to enable knowing proportion to the previously inputted target value of the total sum of the cost to be required for finishing the product.
