Abstract:

To provide a perfectly new design system of making patterns of medical or nursing clothes using body fashion, human body shape and size data, without using currently in-use measures manually designing two dimensional (2D) patterns by imaging the worn figures of a product, but by recognizing three dimensional (3D) figures by using 3D CAD or image processing software working on an electronic computer to design the 3D figures and costume designs and, from 3D parts thereof, to introduce 2D patterns.

The system makes pattern design of well-fitting easily-wearable products by performing the design work through steps of "making 3D figures", "making costume design", "stripping designs made in costume design from the surface of the 3D figures and making the stripped designs the 2D patterns" and so on, to recognize and briefly finish targets and required functions to be realized on the patterns.
