To secure high support strength of a desk top panel while it is simply fitted.
The desk top panel 4 is fitted to a back member 3 disposed below the desk top panel by fastening bolts. A wiring space 8 is provided between the rear end face 1a of a top plate 1 and the desk top panel 4. A reinforcement member 5 is fitted to the right and left end parts of the desk top panel 4 by fitting of an engaging claw 36 and an engagement hole 47. The lower end of the reinforcement member 5 is placed on the top face of the top plate 1 striding over the wiring space 8, and a horizontal support part 38 placed on the top face of the top plate 1 and a vertical support part 37 abutting on the rear end face 1a of the top plate 1 are formed at the lower end of the reinforcement member 5. Since the reinforcement member 5 exhibits high thrust action, the support strength of the desk top panel 4 is high.
