A pair of right and left leg bodies 3 for supporting a desk top plate 2 respectively include the pair of front and rear leg supports 4. The desk comprises the magazine rack 15, which is opened at least at an outer surface side or inner surface side, between the pair of leg supports 4 in at least one leg body. The magazine rack 15 includes a bottom support member 20 which is connected to a part between the pair of leg supports 4 so as to support the high and flat object 16 such as the book, and a pair of middle support members 21, 22 which are connected between the pair of leg supports at a position appropriately upper than the bottom support member 20 so as to support the front and back of the object 16.
