Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desk wherein the number of members can be reduced, and the assembly is easy as well, and which can be manufactured at a low cost, especially regarding the desk having a front board which is erected behind a top plate.
SOLUTION: This desk comprises right and left leg bodies, the top plate, and the front board. In this case, the right and left leg bodies are arranged on the right and the left with a specified interval. The top plate is connected with the upper surface sides of the right and left leg bodies, on the lower surface at the right and left end sections. The front board comprises a protruding section and an extended section. In this case, the upper section of the protruding section protrudes upward from the top plate, and functions as a screen for the top of the desk. The lower section of the extended section extends downward, and functions as an end rail-cum-reinforcing member. Then, the rear surface sides of the right and left leg bodies are connected with the front surface sides of the right and left end sections of the extended section.
