In this desktop air cleaner 10, a first filter 40 is used for coarse dirt, and a second filter 42 is used for fine dirt. Colors of both filters are different from each other. One is a dark color, and the other is a light color. A black color is most suitable for the dark color, and a white color is most suitable for the light color. The first and second filters 40 and 42 are formed so as to be extracted from and inserted into a housing through slits 20a and 20b formed in the housing. Various types of additional functions (for example, viable pollen removal, deodorization, and disinfection) can be added to the filters, and users can selectively use the filters with different additional functions according to use purposes.
