Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for improving desulfurization performance of a desulfurization apparatus.SOLUTION: A desulfurization apparatus 50, in one embodiment, includes a desulfurizer 52 for removing sulfur compounds from a hydrocarbon-based fuel, a heating part 54 which heats the desulfurizer 52, and a control part 200 which controls the heating part 54 so that the temperature inside the desulfurizer 52 becomes 45°C or higher and 120°C or lower. The hydrocarbon-based fuel contains sulfur compounds and at least one of water and methanol. The desulfurizer 52 includes a desulfurizing agent having a molar ratio of silica to alumina of 5 or more and 40 or less and comprising zeolite carrying 2 mass% or more and 8 mass% or less of copper based on the total mass of the desulfurizing agent.
