Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the equipment whereby the desulfurization can be performed to a high degree of desulfurization without causing the sintering of the desulfurizing agent.
CONSTITUTION: A desulfurization equipment wherein the gas to be desulfurized is introduced into a desulfurization tower 2 to fluidize a desulfurizing agent, the gas is desulfurized by contact with the agent at high temperatures, the agent after being used in the desulfurization is regenerated in a regeneration tower 3, and the regenerated desulfurizing agent is returned to the tower 3 and wherein provision is made for a mixer 4 for mixing inert particles with the agent which circulates from the tower 3 to the tower 2, is provided.
