Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desulfurization system and a desulfurization method where treatment can be stably performed even when the system is started and hydrogen sulfide concentration in a hydrogen sulfide-containing gas is varied, a starting period is shortened and clogging caused by sulfur deposition in a biological desulfurization column is suppressed.SOLUTION: In a desulfurization system where hydrogen sulfide is removed from a hydrogen sulfide-containing gas 0a using a biological desulfurization column 1 having a filler stuck with microorganisms and a dry desulfurization column 8 having a desulfurization agent,: a hydrogen sulfide-containing gas inflow line 2 is connected to the upstream side of the biological desulfurization column 1; a biological desulfurization column-treated gas line 7 is connected to the upstream side of the dry desulfurization column 8; a dry desulfurization column-treated gas line 9 is branched to a treatment gas line 10 and a circulation gas line 11; the circulation gas line 11 is connected to the upstream side of the biological desulfurization column 1; and further a dry desulfurization column-treated gas supply regulation mechanism 17 regulating a supply gas quantity to the biological desulfurization column 1 by the circulation gas line 11 so that hydrogen sulfide concentration in the upstream side of the biological desulfurization column 1 becomes 700 ppm or lower.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
