Title:
DETECTING DEVICE FOR ATTITUDE OF CORRUGATED FIBERBOARD PAPER PIECE FOR BOX MAKING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62159007
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To monitor an abnormality of an attitude, and to apply it to a correction of the attitude, by detecting an inclination of the end part of a carrying corrugated fiberboard paper piece from an hourly variation of a reflected light which is detected by two groups or more of optical fiber groups.

CONSTITUTION: On a table 4, ≥2 grooves 6 are provided in parallel to the running direction of a corrugated fiberboard paper piece 3. In the groove 6, a projecting fiber group 8 and a photodetecting fiber group 9 consisting of plural optical fibers which have been brought to a one-dimensional arrangement are buried in a state that they have been superposed in parallel, respectively. When the paper piece 3 is brought to a kicker 5 and runs in a straight attitude on the table 4, it starts to cut off fiber groups 9, 9', and detached at the same time, but if it runs in an inclined state, the time for starting to bring these fiber groups to light-shielding and the time for ending the light-shielding are varied. An operator 15 calculates this time difference, and also calculates an inclination angle θ of the paper piece 3 by information of a running speed obtained from a speed detector 15 and an arrangement interval G of the fiber groups 9, 9'. Accordingly, by monitoring this detecting signal θ, the inclination angle θat the time of running of the corrugated fiberboard paper piece 3 can easily be detected and also with a high accuracy.
