Title:
DETECTING METHOD OF HORIZONTAL DIGGING FORCE IN CONTINUOUS UNLOADER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3492074
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a material handling capacity as purpose under the condition of light load by detecting the horizontal digging force of a bucket continuously with a load cell, and controlling a cross-feed rate of the bucket momently in accord with the state of a cut surface.
SOLUTION: When horizontal digging force has worked on a continuous unloader, this horizontal force is directly transmitted to each bucket 43, and it is accumulated in an endless chain 44, the whole digging force acts on a rear sprocket 12. Since voltage to be outputted from a load cell 1 is varied in proportion to a variation in tension of the endless chain 44, any variation from no-load time is continuously detected, so that the horizontal digging force added anew to the endless chain 44 is measurable. Consequently, a cross-feed rate of the bucket 43 is controlled momently in accord with the state of a cut surface.
