PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable highly accurate detection of an object having an appearance that looks like human skin.SOLUTION: A detection device comprises an image acquisition unit that acquires a visible light image capturing visible light within reflected light of light irradiated on a person, and an infrared ray image capturing an infrared ray of a plurality of different wavelength regions, a face detection unit that detects a face area of the person from the visible light image, and a determination unit that determines that the person wears disguise when a luminance of the infrared ray image in the plurality of different wavelength regions in the face area satisfies a specific relation which is different from a relation which human skin shows.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
