Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a detection method with an excellent resolution function by installing a first and a second transmission steps and a first and a second reception steps and a first, a second and a third candidate leading out steps.
CONSTITUTION: A first and a second transmitted signals are sent to a probe 6 from a transmission part 9, a first and a second echoes of the transmitted signals which the probe 6 receives are amplified by a reception part 10 and then transmitted to a filter part 12. The filter part 12 is a band pass-type filter which transmits components with prescribed frequencies. The echoes are A/D transformed by an A/D transforming part 13 and transmitted to a signal processing part 11. The processing part 11 generates a first and a second reference signals of the first echo and a first and a second reference signals of the second echo as digital signals and carries out signal processing using a specified equation by digital calculation and computes the distance. The S/N of the first and the second echoes can be improved inversely proportionally to the band width by narrowing the band width of the filter part 12.
