Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure detect the finish of a film even when the finish end of film is fixed to a paper pipe with an adhesive tape or the like.
SOLUTION: A strip film 26 drawn from a reeled roll 28 set by a charging means 22 is transferred to a bag-making machine 32 in a state that the film 26 is wound up on a dancer roller 44 tensing it. The displacement position of the dancer roller 44 is detected by the detection signal of a potentiometer 52. The upper and lower limit positions of the deviation are set at both right and left sides of the aimed position of the dancer roller 44. When the potentiometer 52 detects that the dancer roller 44 has shifted to the upper or lower deviation limit positions, a control means 20, detects the finish of the strip film 26. When it has been detected that the dancer roller 44 has abruptly shifted in a specified time interval, also the finish of the film belt is detected.
