To provide a microphone with simple structure and at a low cost which can detect noise outdoors without being influenced by weather even in rainy weather.
The microphone comprises a storage section 100b as a hermetically sealed container formed by an outer wall 100a and a baffle plate 13 of a noise reduction system and a through hole 15 as a venting pathway with the outside is formed at a part of the baffle plate 13 forming the bottom of the storage part 100b. Then, a detection microphone 11 is held so that it is covered by air permeable film 12 by a holder 14 provided on the baffle plate 13. The detection microphone 11 is arranged so that its sensitive surface counters the through hole 15. In addition, a skirt section 16 projecting downward than a lower surface of the baffle plate 13 is formed on the outer wall 100a of the noise reduction system.
