PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which allows for detection of the measurement position of a measuring instrument in a short time.SOLUTION: A detector has control means for controlling to display an image of a predetermined pattern on the screen of a display section, first acquisition means for acquiring a measurement value, obtained in a state where the image of a predetermined pattern is displayed, from a measuring instrument for measuring the light emitted from an arbitrary position on the screen, and detection means for detecting the measurement position of the measuring instrument, based on the measurement value acquired by the first acquisition means and the predetermined pattern.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
